The resort

Kayaks, paddleboards and pedal boats are free for guests to use. There is a private beach on Spitzer Lake, a frisbee golf course on the peninsula, and fire pits, grills and picnic tables around the resort.

Coming soon

Would you want to have the view of Spitzer Lake as your wedding photo backdrop? Weddings can be held in the chapel or outside along the shoreline, with lodging on site for your guests. Our event center will be available for reservations soon.

The area

Walking trails run through the woods on our 30 acres. Outside the resort you are in Otter Tail County, with Battle Lake and the state parks a short drive away.

    Sleeps 5

    Escape to the Northern Loon Hideaway where you will find comfortable studio style rooms with surrounding nature and lake views.

  • The Cottages

    Sleeps 4

    The Cottages are located in the middle of the resort with easy access to all on-site activities.

  • The Sunfish Cabin

    Sleeps 3

    The Sunfish Cabin offers 1 bedroom and a private bathroom with shower.

  • The Walleye Cabin

    Sleeps 4

    The Walleye Cabin offers 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom with shower.

  • The Bass Cabin

    Sleeps 7

    The Bass Cabin offers 3 bedrooms and a private bathroom with shower.

  • The North Star Cabin

    Sleeps 13

    The North Star Cabin is tucked away from the main part of the resort and surrounded by mature trees for privacy.
